No one failed to miss out the 750th birthday of the city. The festive year was from March 21, until September 12, 2009. A grandiose feast from, for and through the city. Thousands of Amersfoorters contributed to make this feast a success. Ten thousand people participated to the festivals and through the whole city people put out their feast year flags.
